Founded in 1989 on Soho Road, Birmingham, KMC Food Group has grown steadily over the decades. In 2007, we expanded our presence into Birmingham city centre markets, further solidifying our footprint in the region. By 2020, we acquired our Bilston site, marking a significant milestone in our journey. The redevelopment of this site was completed in 2021, bringing modern facilities and greater capacity. In 2022, we enhanced our logistics by adding a new fleet of refrigerated vans, lorries, and HGVs. Looking ahead, 2024 will see the completion of a full factory refurbishment, ensuring our operations remain state-of-the-art.
At KMC, we specialise in sourcing high-quality whole birds, primarily fresh British chicken, from trusted UK suppliers. We expertly cut, portion, and skin tons, yes thousands of kilos of chicken, into various cuts tailored to our customers' specific needs. We use different types of packaging based on customer preferences, ensuring the products are delivered in optimal condition. Our products are then carefully packaged and delivered in our refrigerated vehicles, ensuring they arrive fresh and ready for use.
